ADVENTURE 5: Respect

What does it mean to have respect?

The Centurion, a character in the Bible, had respect for Jesus. Respect isn’t just about listening to someone — it also means looking up to someone and treating them well.

You can read more about the Centurion in the Bible in Luke chapter 7:1–10. Click here to read Luke chapter 7:1–10 online.

Remember people to whom you should show respect, such as parents, teachers and police. As well as people, it’s also important to respect places (like your home, school, library, countryside) and things (like your or other people’s belongings).
